Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra emerged from the Chamber Orchestra, which was founded in 1988. The Prestigious Grammy Awards Nominee, the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra of Lithuania is an integral part of the cultural life in Kaunas, Lithuania and the entire Baltic region.
A recognisable, modern visual identity was created for a symphony orchestra that retains the feel of classical music. A decorative, modern design (with typography that incorporates classical elements) was chosen. A royal blue shadow texture was designed for the client to represent the evening musical stage art. The logo has two versions, a shortened version and a full version, both have a stylised musical note integrated. The note gives the logo a modern and youthful look while making it more decorative.
The visual identity is based on a custom-made royal blue shadow texture alongside shapes that represent the silhouettes of classical musical instruments, giving the designs soft and curved lines reminiscent of theatre curtains.
